- What games does CardCore support?
- Seven today: Star Wars: Unlimited, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, One Piece Card Game, Riftbound and Sorcery: Contested Realm. Cyberpunk, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon and Gundam are coming soon. You choose which games your store carries.
- Do I get my own website?
- Yes. Your storefront lives at yourstore.cardcore.gg with your logo, your games and your prices.
- How do players pay for online orders?
- Online orders are paid with store credit, or directly to your store, for example in person at pickup. Card payments are taken on your Square terminal at the counter. Shipping is available at CardCore's standard rates.
- Who processes card payments?
- You connect your own Square account, and card payments at the counter go straight to it.
- How do trade-ins work?
- Players build a trade-in online and see an automatic offer based on your buy prices. Your staff checks the cards, adjusts if needed, and completes the trade. Payouts go to store credit, and you can offer cash too.
- Where do prices come from?
- Market prices come from TCGplayer market data and update automatically. You can set your own price on any card or sealed product.
- Can I bring my current inventory?
- We help you get your inventory in during setup. Scanned collections can be imported from a CardNexus export (Near Mint English cards, six of the seven games).
- What hardware do I need?
- An iPad or a laptop with a browser for the counter. A barcode scanner helps, and the camera works too. A Square terminal if you take cards.
- How do players sign in?
- With Discord. Once your store's Discord server is connected, signing in also adds them to it.
- Is my data separate from other stores?
- Yes. Each store has its own database for inventory, orders, trade-ins and staff. Player accounts are shared across CardCore stores so a player can shop at more than one.
- What about backups?
- The database is backed up every hour, every production server is backed up nightly, and there is a second copy on a separate backup machine.
- What does it cost?
- Pricing depends on your store. Book a demo and we will walk you through it.
